Enjoy nostalgic original versions of popular music pieces, a medley of songs from the 1920s, and more, as we take a one-hour trip back in time to honor this groundbreaking era in music history.

Lux Perpetua: Light of Hope

Eternal light—lux perpetua—is an image of hope that transcends life and death. Experience this light as the GSO Chorus and Orchestra present Gabriel Fauré’s haunting “Requiem” and other selections from the British choral school, an African-American spiritual, and a Buddhist mantra set by a contemporary Canadian composer.
