A Musical Feast

Guest pianist Martina Filjak joins the GSO for Johannes Brahm’s richly symphonic Piano Concerto No.1. Baritone Jesse Blumberg and the GSO Chorus then take the stage for William Walton’s oratorio Belshazzar’s Feast, the biblical tale of excess and divine wrath at the court of Babylon.

The GSO Chamber Chorus will be taking its show on the road in September 2012, heading to Spain for its first international tour.  Come and hear selections from the tour repertoire as well as other choral favorites.
