Emily Hindes

Emily Hindes holds a Master’s Degree in instrumental performance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she studied violin with Dr. Bernard Zinck, a graduate of the Paris Conservatory and Julliard. Emily received her B.M. in string performance at Kennesaw State University, where she trained with Helen Kim. Mrs. Hindes has been an active participant in orchestras, small ensembles, solo performances, and many freelance projects around both Atlanta and Milwaukee. In 2010, she traveled with the Kennesaw State Orchestra to Beijing and Xian China, where they performed a two-concert tour. The following spring, Emily soloed with the Kennesaw State Philharmonic Orchestra, where she performed the 3rd movement of Spring by Vivaldi.

Emily has recorded with local artists, including Matt Jackson and Daniel Bashta who currently signed with Integrity Music. Mrs. Hindes has toured with bands in and around Atlanta, the most current group being Quiet Hounds, an indie group centered in Atlanta. Emily has taught privately since 2010 and has coached chamber groups for the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra. She has also participated in chamber competitions throughout the state of Georgia and attended violin teacher workshops in Milwaukee and Atlanta. Currently, Emily serves as the Operations Manager for the Georgia Symphony Orchestra.
