Help GSO’s Music Work for Those We Serve
For 72 years, our mission has been to ensure that the Georgia Symphony Orchestra’s Music WORKS to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
Currently, GSO’s Music WORKS through programs that impact our:
- Community at large – through our imaginative programming, visionary leadership and critically acclaimed orchestral, choral and jazz performances;
- Youth – through our Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestras program – one of the top-10 largest in the country and the largest in the Southeast;
- Individuals with sensory sensitivities and their families – through our annual Sensory Friendly Concert; and
- Veterans and military families – through our partnerships with local veterans’ organizations and the provision of complimentary tickets to our performances.*
It is through the generosity of individuals like you that we have been able to impact our communities in Cobb County and the greater Atlanta area in such ways and we cannot continue to thrive and grow without your help.
Did you know ticket sales normally cover only 13 – 18 percent of the cost associated with a single GSO Classics series concert? While this is standard across the country for orchestras, it means we rely on Corporations, foundations and your charitable contributions help us meet the remainder of our GSO, GSO Chorus, GSO Jazz! and GYSO expenses.
Please consider making a gift today. Your donation will support our vision of continuing to grow a thriving and innovative cultural organization that enriches, educates and inspires through music.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
*A limited number of concert tickets for each performance are available through VetTix (Veteran Tickets Foundation).
