The GSO’s 72nd season has connected our community with incredible and meaningful performances from our orchestra and jazz ensembles, chorus and GYSO ensembles. We have also been very lucky to count on the support of talented guest musicians and artists.
To conclude our season, we are ending on the highest of notes with the spinning wheel of fate in Orff’s powerful Carmina Burana. This colossal work is most well-known for its memorable opening, “O Fortuna,” which has been featured in films, television and commercials.
The powerful performance will be accompanied by the GSO Chorus, GYSO Youth Chorus, and the Atlanta Boy Choir.
