GSO Holiday Pops Rings in Holidays with Special Guests Irrera Brothers

The Georgia Symphony Orchestra (GSO) and Chorus ensemble will ring in the holidays with its annual GSO Holiday Pops concert, an exciting, fun-filled performance of holiday music featuring the piano-and-violin duo the Irrera Brothers on Sat., Dec. 5, 2015. Two concerts will be held at 3 and 8 p.m. at the Marietta Performing Arts Center.

The critically acclaimed Irrera Brothers have captivated audiences throughout the United States and abroad. Concert engagements have brought the brothers to notable venues such as the Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, the Eastman Theatre, and internationally throughout France, Germany, Italy, and Costa Rica. Highlights from the Irrera Brothers 2015-2016 Concert Season include appearances at Atlanta’s Spivey Hall, Eastman’s Hatch Hall, concerto appearances with the Georgia Symphony Orchestra, and a Florida concert tour scheduled for February.

Led by Christopher Thibdeau, GSO Holiday Pops will thrill audiences of all ages with classic holiday favorites and feature a sing-along with the Georgia Symphony Orchestra and Chorus at the end of the show.

“We are excited to welcome The Irrera Brothers to Marietta and provide a special holiday concert for our families, friends and the whole community while they sing along to their holiday favorites,” said Thibdeau, interim music director of GSO. “It is a great way to start the holiday season.”
