As a specialist in the Suzuki Method Mr. Hedman accepts students as young as three and a half but he is also expert in the teaching of young people of all other skill levels. Many of his students go on to occupy positions of leadership in their school orchestras and to gain admission into the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra, Georgia's All State Orchestras, and the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra. In the spring of 2008 eight of his students auditioned for positions in the qrchestras of GYSO. All eight were accepted. Mr. Hedman is the founder of Paul Hedman String Quartets whose ensembles have provided music for nearly seven hundred weddings, receptions, and corporate functions. He has also performed in and contracted musicians for hundreds of church services and holiday performances all over metro Atlanta.
