Jonathon McAdow is a freelance drummer and percussionist based in the Atlanta, GA area. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, he received his undergraduate degree in music from Furman University. His work in a broad array of genres and media defines him as a musician. He keeps occupied as an in demand live and session musician on drum set as well as percussion, is an instructor, clinician and arranger at the high school level for both marching and concert percussion, and has taught at the college level as well. He has been a part of the music ministry at Mount Paran Church of God since 1998, has been part of the staff for the music program at Creekview High School in Canton, GA since it’s inception, and continues to perform with acts as diverse as jazz vocalist Melanie Massell, alt-country trio Big Swig, various regional symphonies, and numerous other original and cover artists.
