Trumpeter Brian Miller has taught and performed around the world for over 15 years – as far away as Muscat, Oman. He has performed locally with numerous groups including the Georgia Symphony Orchestra, the Georgia Philharmonic, and the Macon Symphony. His students are regularly selected to participate in local honor groups including District 12 Honor Band, All State Band, Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra, and the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony. His private students who have gone on to study music in college have been accepted to such schools as the University of Georgia, Northwestern University, the University of Michigan, and the University of Miami. Mr. Miller’s teaching philosophy is one that encourages a path of creative self-discovery in and beyond the student’s musical endeavors. Mr. Miller attended the University of Michigan for his Masters degree in Trumpet Performance and Baldwin Wallace College Conservatory for his Bachelors in Trumpet Performance.
