OrchestraMeet the Orchestra → Maggie Sandberg

Maggie Sandberg has been playing with the Georgia Symphony since 2006. Back in high school, she attended Dekalb College for two years under the joint enrollment program and studied violin, as well as played in the Dekalb Symphony Orchestra.

Maggie has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech, and currently works as a program manager for the Federal Transit Administration. While she's not working or playing violin, she also enjoys running.

She lives in Marietta with her husband Bob, three sons (who are also musicians and members of GYSO), and their greyhound Caesar.
