Contribute → Planned Giving

The Georgia Symphony Orchestra welcomes the opportunity to be named beneficiary of bequests and other deferred gifts. Although bequests are the most popular and easiest to structure of the estate provisions, the CSO also encourages donors to remember the Orchestra when assigning beneficiaries of charitable gift annuities, life insurance, charitable trusts, retained life estates and retirement accounts.

With the hope of becoming a significant source of funding for the Orchestra, all realized deferred gifts are placed in the Endowment Fund, unless otherwise directed by the donor at the time of the gift.

The CSO strongly advises you to consult your personal financial advisor for information specific to your circumstances. For general information about how planned gifts can benefit the CSO while potentially reducing taxes and/or providing life income, contact the Georgia Symphony for additional information.
